Monster Factory is excited to introduce the “Bad Robot” monster, a limited edition art piece, made especially for Gallery 1988′s “Bad Robot Art Experience”, opening tonight in L.A.

For “The Bad Robot Art Experience” over 100 artists were asked to create work inspired by the Bad Robot TV shows, films and logo. Production company co-founders, JJ Abrams & Bryan Burk, have been closely involved with the exhibition from the start and encouraged the inclusion of “The Mission Continues”, a charity that they love to work with. Ten percent of the proceeds from the art show will go to ‘The Mission Continues’, a nonprofit organization that empowers veterans to serve as community leaders.

Although he’s still a big fan of puzzles and mysteries, Bad Robot has developed a new obsession of late: Astronomy.

Monster Factory chose to base their piece on the Bad Robot logo. They created a plush version of the iconic red robot and managed to capture his adorable and curious character, while adding a little Monster Factory flavor to the mix.  The result is a very huggable Bad Robot!

The show opens tonight at Gallery 1988′s Melrose location and runs to May 18, 2013. If you are in L.A. don’t miss out on this incredible opportunity to witness a very unique and special tribute to the Bad Robot empire. If you are not near L.A., don’t fret you can view all the work online here:
